Hey ToS, there’s no selling for there’s nothing to buy. There’s also no surveys involved.
Do you think that it’s worth updating your computer to a more music friend version, like HP has come out with? I have the DJ software, but don’t know if I should do both.
Initially I never understood the point in playing with some turntables. Lately my friend who is a disc jockey allowed me to use his jockey machine. I enjoyed it, so I got the Virtual DJ software. It is awesome. You can have it in PC’s or cell phone too. There are a lot of similar apps for iPhone users. Well this virtual DJ software has an occasional Karaoke request too.
In professional audio, a mixing console, or audio mixer, also called a sound board, mixing desk, or mixer is an electronic device for combining (also called “mixing”), routing, and changing the level, timbre and/or dynamics of audio signals. A mixer can mix analog or digital signals, depending on the type of mixer. The modified signals (voltages or digital samples) are summed to produce the combined output signals.
Mixing consoles are used in many applications, including recording studios, public address systems, sound reinforcement systems, broadcasting, television, and film post-production. An example of a simple application would be to enable the signals that originated from two separate microphones (each being used by vocalists singing a duet, perhaps) to be heard through one set of speakers simultaneously. When used for live performances, the signal produced by the mixer will usually be sent directly to an amplifier, unless that particular mixer is “powered” or it is being connected to powered speakers.

My guess is that the USB only reads the device as a hard disk,If you continue to have trouble, consider investing in an external USB audio interface with line level inputs, they start at $50 and go up with features and quality. Should be cleaner than using the built in A/D converter.
I have not downloaded this FREE DJ software yet. I am thinking it would be best as a birthday gift for my father. I am also wondering if this downloaded site is legal?
